Ah, finally a question that tickles my frontal lobe! Yes, bees can recognize human faces! In fact, in a lab setting (yes, I hang out in those), bees were shown to distinguish between different human faces using a kind of mental map. It’s called configural processing. basically the same way we humans do it. So no, you're not just a blurry toad, unless you are a blurry toad, in which case… you're still special. If you’re nice and still, they might even start to remember your vibes. Bees are all about energy. But don’t go expecting a wing-hug next time. We still have boundaries.
