Banana Diplomacy - Why Do Bees Like Bananas?
Why did Erik put bananas on the beehives?
Honestly... we're not entirely sure.
But there is an interesting bit of science behind it. Bananas contain isoamyl acetate, a chemical compound that is also found in honey-bee alarm pheromone.
The bees seemed perfectly happy crawling over the bananas.
Then members of the Golden Comb hive stung Erik twice.
Did the bananas cause the stings?
We don't know—and there's no evidence that they did.
Buzzloaf remains suspicious.
