Field Note #1 — Taking Bees for a Walk

Every hive has a story, and this series is dedicated to sharing some of the unforgettable adventures from the Putney Ridge archives.

In today's Field Note, we travel back to a bee rescue near Putney, Vermont, where thousands of honey bees were safely collected using a custom-built bee vac and rescue cylinder.

Their journey included a few unexpected stops before finally reaching their new home.

Adventure comes in many forms...

Sometimes it buzzes.

Stay curious, and don't drop the bees.
