Operation Mite Fight

Today, Erik suited up for one of the most important jobs in beekeeping, helping protect the hive from Varroa mites.

From the bees' point of view, it probably looked like a secret mission. But in reality, the treatment helps reduce mite populations so the colony can stay healthy and continue doing what it does best: raising brood, pollinating flowers, and making honey.

Every healthy hive depends on good management, and keeping mites under control is one of the best ways to support long-term colony health.
