The swarm had settled high in a tree.

And somehow Reece drew the short straw.

While thousands of bees occupied the branches above, Reece climbed into the tree to help bring the swarm within reach. Meanwhile, I waited below with a swarm box, hoping we could convince thousands of bees that our housing proposal was better than a tree branch.
